Getting started

How do I get started?
Book a free 20–30 minute consultation. We’ll talk through your goals, health history, and schedule, then decide together whether in-home, online personal training, or online coaching is the best fit.
Do I need to be fit already?
Not at all. Julia works with every level - from complete beginners to experienced athletes, teens to seniors - and tailors each program to where you are today.
What should I expect in the first session?
A movement and goals assessment, a discussion of any injuries or limitations, and the start of a program built specifically for you.

In-home training

Which areas do you serve?
Julia is based in Langley, BC, and trains clients in-home throughout Langley and the surrounding communities. Sessions a little further out are welcome too, and locations beyond her regular area may include an additional travel fee.
Do I need equipment or a lot of space?
No. Julia brings the equipment needed and can run an effective session in a small space - a living room, condo gym, or building amenity room all work.
Is there a travel fee?
Not for clients in Langley and the surrounding communities. For locations further out, an additional travel fee may apply. If it does, you’ll know the exact amount after your free consultation, before anything is booked.

Online training & coaching

What's the difference between online personal training and online coaching?
Online personal training is a live 1:1 session over video (WhatsApp, Google Meet, or FaceTime) where Julia coaches you in real time. Online coaching is a custom program you follow on your own schedule, supported by a monthly follow-up call, a monthly live session, video form reviews, and a training app to log your workouts.
What do I need for online sessions?
Just a phone, tablet, or laptop with a camera, a stable internet connection, and a bit of room to move. If any equipment would help with your goals, Julia will recommend options.
Can we train across time zones?
Yes. Scheduling is flexible - just mention your time zone when booking.

Scheduling, packages & payment

Do you offer session packages?
Session packages are coming soon. For now, sessions are booked individually. Book a free consultation to get started, and Julia will let you know as soon as packages are available.
What is your cancellation policy?
Please give at least 24 hours’ notice to reschedule or cancel at no charge. Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice, and no-shows, are charged as a session.
Do session packs expire?
Packages aren’t available just yet. When they launch, any expiry terms will be shared up front so everything is clear before you buy.
How do I pay?
For now, payment is by Interac e-transfer. More options may be added as session packages launch.
